How is it that we get so afraid of being around a dead person? Well, how many of us have been able to say good-bye in a supportive, calm, nurturing, natural and comfortable environment? It is a blessing to have this opportunity. Caring for your own dead, with support and planning, can bring healing, comfort and relief, honoring your loved one in these last acts of love.

new natural burial option in Michigan

There is a new cemetery opening in June 2010 that offers "natural burial." I don't know much about them yet, but I like the list of questions on their website titled "Is natural burial right for you?" I'll let you know when I go visit them. Check it out.
